If you're talking about a square pan or rectangular dish, I'm not sure - you'll have to double or triple the recipe to make sure you fill all the surface area (keep in mind it doesn't rise or expand much in the oven). And you'll also have longer slices - but I don't think that's too big of an issue!Lihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03438205500206486831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835875300458417701.post-37597254495366169632013-03-10T12:48:21.589+11:002013-03-10T12:48:21.589+11:00Is the loaf tin mandatory or can it be made in a g...Is the loaf tin mandatory or can it be made in a glass pan?Nataliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06291179409888544507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835875300458417701.post-85377107437175508002013-03-03T08:42:08.878+11:002013-03-03T08:42:08.878+11:00Aw thank you!Aw thank you!Lihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03438205500206486831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835875300458417701.post-55022761551251263152013-03-02T05:33:56.252+11:002013-03-02T05:33:56.252+11:00mouth watering!!!!mouth watering!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835875300458417701.post-46104089941479262652013-03-02T00:51:28.307+11:002013-03-02T00:51:28.307+11:00Thanks! Hmm, I'm not sure - all the recipes that I've seen which make similar type of cookies all have, if not a freezer stage, then at least a refrigeration stage, so the extra step is pretty important. Freezing it possibly helps hold it together better. However, an electric slicer would definitely help - just make sure it's completely cooled before slicing. If you try it, let me know how it goes!Lihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03438205500206486831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835875300458417701.post-54101358511319533832013-02-28T08:05:34.374+11:002013-02-28T08:05:34.374+11:00It's my first time here and your header is wor...It's my first time here and your header is worth remembering. I am looking at recipes to use up the leftover pecans I used for shortbread cookies a few weeks ago, this might just be what I was waiting for.

As I don't have enough space left in my freezer to put a whole loaf in, do you think that I could slice it after it has cooled down completely without the freezer stage(knowing that I have an electric slicer and won't be fiddling with a knife)?Ingrid - Kitchen Tales of Sugar & Spicehttp://sugarandspicetales.blogspot.be/noreply@blogger.com
